Ladies, lets talk for a bit...So I am all about individual style, wear what you feel comfortable in the most (especially when you're in the comfort of your own home). When you leave the house, it's like you're signing some invisible contract whereby you are judged by how you look; and quite frankly, that's the truth of the matter. By walking out in public, you're imposing yourself onto everyone out there and the best courtesy you can show is being the best eye candy you can be.
I am all for the natural look as well but a little lip color and eye liner does wonders for you!! It's sad that most ladies with beady eyes will never realize the power which lies within black eye liner and mascara. Yes, personality and whats inside matters more but you need to understand and accept the fact that the only way anyone is ever going to actually pursue getting to know you is if you seem interested in yourself. Take a nice long bath, soak, lotion yourself and smell good...everyday (the first thing anybody sees about you has nothing to do with your personality)! Do it for yourself at least.
You need to dress and look the part. If you dress skimpy and semi-nude, it's easy for us to assume you're trying to pass of as a hooker; so forgive us if we treat you like one. Because quite frankly, the first thing anyone is going to see about you, is your appearance...the rest is just an after thought. Dress to appeal to a certain crowd; if you're going to look classy and well composed, then obviously you're going to attract that type of crowd. Do NOT get mad if only the dead beat loser type dudes hit on you every time....maybe you need to re-examine your closet. I think, when you dress a certain kind of way, you automatically check yourself into a certain league. Real life is pretty much like high school, there will always be cliques which separate people (yes, the social struggles of high school), it's sad but true. It's only better because you don't feel the pressure to become one of the cool kids or ridiculed because your "style" is different, but you do pick your crowd and you will be judged accordingly...that's just how it is. Anyway, I'm not trying to get into that so let me leave it at that.
Having said that, feel free to express yourselves and wear what you may but remember society will not let you go off easy. So when you dress up and strut your walk out there, be prepared to deal with the attention you're setting yourself up for because as much as everyone else's opinion is nothing but just an opinion, it will determine which crowd you will eventually settle in. And wherever you end up, just make sure you look good there OK?
life as i see it..
Be the ray of sunshine on a cloudy day! When the world tells you that you can't, tell it that you can do all things through Christ who gives you strength. In every "impossible" situation, become the exception!

I just don't get it...
So, nothing against single people publicizing their status, or simply celebrating the fact that they are alone (possibly miserable and hating it); I just don't see why they need to make it a big deal! I mean do y'all really have to move around holding up banner proclaiming how great it is to be "free"? If its so great and you're enjoying the single life then good, stop trying to convince the rest of us that you are loving it...we really don't care.
The way most single people go on and on is equally as annoying as that one friend we all have who doesn't get to date a lot and when they finally do, we never hear the end of it (if you don't have such a friend, cast a wider net, you really need to experience some of these friendships firsthand to know the do's and don'ts). You know the way you act when you're in a relationship? The whole, "I handle my own business, its just me and my boo." attitude? Yes that!!! Why cant you keep that up when you're single? Really, because the constant "Single and Loving It" twitter updates and "You gotta be bloody amazing to get this" facebook statuses aren't helping you much. If anything they are making you look pretty desperate (if you aren't that already) and nothing close to emancipation. Trust me, we don't need to be reminded of how 'awesome' you are and how much you are worth...because in some cases if we are to evaluate that overly exaggerated 'worth'.....lets just say we can't be friends.
Invest your time in other things, get a journal, go shopping, go out and take pictures that society will frown upon!! Do stuff single people do and stop talking about how you want your next relationship to be like...because I truly believe if you're so happy being single, you really don't need to spam our lives seeking for attention. Its not working and its definitely not a good look. All I'm saying is, keep the yip-yap on a minimal...because quite frankly #NobodyCaresB

love, life and everything in-between...
i might want to begin by stating that i am a very opinionated person and what goes on in my life is pretty much what i want it to be like. if i dont like something im not going to play along and like it just because someone else might get hurt or offended if i dont.
ok, so now i can safely say that love is not the single greatest feeling in the world and whoever said it was, lied!! yes, they lied...most of the time if not all the time, love hurts more than it is going to keep you happy. yes i have had bad past experiences and i cannot single out one guy who was perfect when it comes to love, then again nothing is perfect. truth is, love hurts and it sucks out all your energy till you become either suicidal or homicidal. all great love stories end up in tragedy. #FACT
the best we can ever do when it comes to love is compromise our sanity and hope for the best...though deep down we know it is twisted, half the things we do for love cannot be explained anyway so certainly we dont expect anything good to come out of something we ourselves do not understand. this love story is so complex i do not even have the will power to go deep on it without letting myself feel empty and sad.
so anyway, the issue of perfectism always baffles me. i have concluded that there is no such thing as pefect. mainly because whoever came up with the word perfect was referring to something they saw from their own opinion. considering that everyone has his/her own opinion, it is practically impossible to come up with one perfect conclusion for anything really. so in my own personal opinion, something i can call perfect is something that satisfies both my curiosity and need. i can just say contentment is perfect for anyone or anything. because when something gets to the point where you cant add or remove anything from it, it can be said it is perfect. even if someone else chooses to differ from your conclusion, it really doesnt count because at the end of the day, your life and what you deem perfect only applies to you. if you are content i dont see why anyone else would want to say it is not perfect for you because they are not you! it is true that no man is an island, but it is also a fact that your actions directly affect you alone, and not the next person. of course that is a story i will tell you about another day but for today i believe we are done...
